Certified Master Electrician Ethics Course

This course is designed for the Certified Master Electrician (CME) that desires to maintain that designation as well as for any Registered Master Electrician (RME) that desires to become a CME. It is a requirement under the Professional and Occupational Associations Registrations Act (POARA) for CMEs but can also be taken by anyone with an interest in this material.

The Certified Master Electrician Ethics course is based on the Code of Ethics as outlined in POARA. Several scenarios are included and there is a final set of questions designed to help you think. When you answer 75% of them correctly you will be able to print a Certificate of Completion which you will be required to submit to the ECAA for renewal.

We do not intend that this course will be an exhaustive study of ethics, but rather that it will serve as a point of increased awareness of how our ethics influences our daily decisions and, in turn, our industry.
